What a Dream

What A Dream

It was a Friday afternoon. School had just finished and I was stressed. My teachers love me so much they gave me a lot of work. I was so ready to go to sleep, but I had to do my work. It was quite simple but hard at the same time. I finished anyway and I had a snack and went to my room. It was 10:20 when I went to sleep.

For some reason I felt a cold sweat. I woke up and to my surprise I was in the middle of a forest, but it looked like a place I’ve been to before. Really only in my dreams if I’m being honest. The sky was as if it was offering a dazzling farewell to the sun-a fiery orange nearest the water, edging into watermelon pink farther up, then at its height a deep blackberry and lily pads dotted the shore.

I realized it was an ocean. It had so many beautiful and odd looking fish. As I wandered around the area I still couldn’t speak. It felt as if someone was covering my mouth. It didn’t bother me much, but I was a bit concerned. I heard a voice. It was a calming voice, probably a woman singing.

I went up to her but I blinked and all of the sudden she was gone. I looked around and muffledly cried out loud for her. No one replied, at first I thought I was hallucinating or something but I was sure I saw a woman. She was wearing a long white and silky dress. I walked around more to try and find her. As I was walking around I thought about a name for this forest. I thought about endergreen, but that seemed weird and then everwood came to my mind and that name was perfect.

I ended up finding a village of people, I blinked to make sure it was true and it was. I was shocked and went up to them but it seemed that no one in the everwood got along because they had no ruler to unite them. I was certain in that village I would find the woman. I searched around trying not to get caught. I ended up finding her but she was running. I chased her and finally caught up to her. She seemed very graceful. She was playing an instrument. It looked like the cello and the music was very calming and beautiful. I went up to her and she saw me. All of the sudden I felt as if I could talk now. I asked for her name but then………My alarm went off. I woke up immediately and was scared. It was 11:00 in the morning and the dream felt so real I got shivers. I really wanted to continue the dream but I couldn’t. So I just spent the rest of the day in my house talking to my mom about my dream. It was very amazing, what a dream.

                            To be continued………
