Starting Monday, January 9 we will compete in a world-wide reading challenge called the READBowl.
  • The competition begins the day of the American College Football National Championship (January 9, 2023).
  • READBowl will culminate with a live crowning of the World Champions of Reading on the morning of the National Football League’s (NFL) Super Bowl Sunday (February 12, 2023).
  • READBowl is a 4-week program divided into four quarters and includes a halftime show.
  • Your reading minutes should be logged each day and by Sunday each week.  A reading log is available for your use.  Reading minutes should be entered in the reading log form before midnight each Sunday.
  • You can log ALL your reading - reading for pleasure and reading for classwork in all subjects.
  • We will have access to the locker room after each quarter, with videos from some of your favorite authors.
  • The top reader in each grade level, each quarter, will win a free book.
  • The top grade level at the end of the competition wins open gym.

              Seventh Grade Won Open Gym!

  • The winning school gets all kinds of goodies, such as a live event with football player and author Malcolm Mitchell, books, etc.
